Terms & Conditions

All orders should be placed with our sales office or our online ordering, the day before the scheduled delivery day in your area. Orders need to be in before 4.30pm. Our current minimum order is £75.00.

Strictly cash on delivery unless credit terms have been previously agreed by the company. Where credit facilities have been agreed, weekly accounts will be due the monday/tuesday of the following week, for other account terms or monthly accounts payment is due as per the invoice due date unless a set payment date has been agreed. All risks in the goods pass the purchaser on the delivery. Ownership of goods delivered to our customers shall remain with us until payment of the invoice has been received in full.

All goods must be checked and signed for you by our customer at the time of delivery. Any claims or shortages should be noted and acknowledged by our driver. In the order to ensure the quality and safety of the products, we are unable to accept the return of chilled foods unless notified of damage or defect at the time of delivery.

We take particular pride in fulfilling orders placed with us, but circumstances beyond our control can cause shortages. We will usually offer a suitable alternative for your approval.

Most food products with a life from the manufacturer of twelve months or less must be, by law, dated either with a best before date or a sell by date statement. We, as company, will make every effort to ensure that all delivered stock has an optimum remaining life when we receive our customers valued orders. However, all customers should check the durability dates upon receipt of their orders.

We reserve the right to change products, brands and pack sizes to equivalent or improved standard as circumstances dictate.

Please check with our sales office as some cheese and cooked meats may be priced by weight (i.e. per kilo).

Despite our best efforts, problems occasionally arise. If they do please telephone our telesales department, where a competent person will deal with the matter.

Every effort is made to maintain stable prices. Circumstances beyond our control require the effective price to be that ruling on the date of despatch. Placing of orders by our customers denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
